Funding Pathways

  The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship is an Ohio state-funded program that empowers families of children with disabilities to choose the educational setting and specialized services that best meet their child's unique needs. Available to eligible students ages 3 through 21 with a current Individualized Education Program (IEP), the scholarship can be used toward tuition at approved private special education schools or for services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavioral intervention, tutoring, and other supports provided by participating scholarship providers. Scholarship amounts vary based on a student's identified disability and educational needs, helping families access personalized instruction and services that promote academic, social, and developmental success.
